that the 2014 season is bound to be off the charts for radness.
The West Sac. Grand Prix was a huge success! Hat's off to Matthew Hargrove and his crew for making this event top notch! This event was major instant classic status and for 2015 I am sure great things will emerge to keep this West Sac. GP all in for top rated Cross racing.
Next up for the banner 2014 Nor-Cal Cross campaign is CCCX #2! This is a race not to be missed! The course designer dug deep to discover all new route selections that is gauranteed to make riders legs burn and riders faces smile from the fun of it all!
CCCX #2 is this Saturday, the next feature in Nor-Cal Cyclocross's story line for 2014.
The season is in explode mode so get out there and ride!
The first Cyclocross race of the CCCX Series goes off this Sunday September 7 near Monterey. The course has been scouted out and dialed in and it is going to be a good first test of the season. Dirt, sand and pavement sections of race route awaits all who compete. Tight trails, wide open sections and a bunch of turns will get all back in the swing of Cyclocross racing.
Always remember to keep it fun! Please note there is only day-of registration for the CCCX Cross races. Please make sure to arrive early enough to check in and get a good warm up checking out the course... Also this year I am adding some new age groups to the list of divisions for new riders, as well as the most senior Cross racers. Those new divisions are.... 45+ Cat. C Men, 65+ Men, 55+ Women and 65+ Women. Ride on..!!!
Thanks to Jakroo Custom Apparel and all the CCCX supporters for the arrival of the new CCCX Cycling Series Winners Jersey. Very happy to start handing these out to the MTB XC, Cyclocross, and Road winners.
